View the folder from the safety of the control room.

The GripperScan system allows for the first time the ability to view the folder from the safety of the control room.

Cameras mounted on the folder and a viewing console situated in the control room allows operators to view the folder at a glance.

Using high speed cameras and strobe lighting the Gripperscan can freeze and magnify the gripper claws to enable the operator to make necessary adjustments ensuring production is not disrupted by errors occurring in the folder.

With a simple operator keyboard Gripper claws can be easily located at the point of setup requiring no additional adjustments during production.

Making the folder viewable continuously throughout the production run increases the number of times the folder is checked.

Viewing two folders simultaneously at increased magnification ensures the operator has total control with the minimum of effort.

Cameras come fi tted as standard with zoom lenses allowing the operator the ability to choose the desired magnification.

The System is supplied with a high-resolution 19” monitor as standard.
The Main CPU is housed in a 19” rack mounted unit for easy installation.

A remote keyboard can be fixed in to any control console for easy access.

Specially designed enclosures ensure cameras and sensitive electronics are free from dust contamination. Cameras are mounted on to motorised traverse bars giving operators the ability to view any area across the folder.

An air supply is fi tted to the front of each of the camera housings to ensure that in this most hostile environment, visibility is maintained at all times.
